Mindfulness and wood
Mindfulness is a term that has been introduced little by little in recent years in the lives of many people, who practice activities such as yoga and meditation, and it’s known that there is a relationship with elements of nature that encourage well-being.
They have chosen to incorporate textures and materials that convey serenity and calm. Brick, concrete and wood play a symbiosis in their pure state.
The mindfulness concept
The development of the architectural plan allows that upon entering you are transported to a warm environment and leave your worries at the door. The tearoom invites you to relax and prepare for a yoga session with tranquility and in an atmosphere with natural materials.
The same species of wood was used to cover the walls and build the furniture, in this way, a light and cozy skin envelops the space. On the other hand, a symbolic element in yoga was incorporated, the sun, which was reinterpreted in the shape of mirrors, complemented with artificial light to give dimension and identity.
The design of the doors does not go unnoticed. The main door, flush with the wall and with a wooden strip as a handle, also allows you to get an idea of what is happening inside. Sliding doors take advantage of the space and hidden doors blend with the materials of the architectural space.
